Terms and Conditions:
Please note your acceptance of these terms and conditions is a requirement of making a booking.
- A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm bookings. Balance is payable on or prior to arrival. We accept Visa, Master Card, Amex or direct deposit. ## A surcharge applies to all credit cards as determined by your bank.
- Extra charges apply if more people stay, other than originally booked.
- The Beach Shacks are for the quite enjoyment of all guests – loud music or noise is not accepted. Parties/Events not allowed.
- There is a no smoking policy for this property.
- Allocation of specific bungalows is completely subject to availability at the time of your stay.
- This accommodation is not suitable for those guests who do not wish to climb stairs.
- Linen is included, i.e. bed linen, bath towels, tea towels. Please bring your own beach towels.
- Bungalows are not serviced during your stay. Other arrangements can be made – extra charges apply.
- Larger bungalows have full kitchens (no ovens). Some bungalows have kitchenettes, all have BBQ, microwave oven.
- There are laundry facilities on the premises, not in individual apartments.
- Guests are responsible for any damage, loss or theft from their bungalow or personal property.
- A cleaning fee is charged if the bungalow is not left in a hygienic, clean, tidy condition.
- We are unable to accommodate pets.
Cancellation Policy – As we hold your reservation in good faith, the following applies:–
- up to 60 days notice required to cancel bookings out of school holidays.
- up to 180 days notice required to cancel bookings for school holidays/public holidays.
- If required notice is not received, deposits are not refundable.
- If stay has commenced, full payment of original booking applies.
- An administration fee of $75 applies for any changes to the booking or if deposits are refunded.
Arrivals:
**Please note check in must be before 5.00pm. Office is then closed**
- Please collect keys from reception, The Beach Shacks, 578 Captain Cook Drive, Seventeen Seventy QLD 4677.
- Check-in 1.30pm-5.00pm. Office is at the top of the stairs. Other entry 9 Elliot Street – behind The Beach Shacks.
- Office Hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm daily. Please call 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements for late arrivals.
Departures:
- A cleaning fee is charged if the bungalow is not left in a clean, hygienic, tidy condition.
- Please return keys to reception desk no later than 10.00am on day of departure.
